劇集介紹：
故事以日本海軍軍官海江田四郎為主角，他被派到美國第七艦隊指揮的核子潛艦海蝙蝠號擔任艦長。他對美國對日本的壓迫和核武器的威脅感到不滿，決定發動叛亂，帶領艇上的日本官兵奪取潛艦，將潛艦改名為大和號，宣佈成立大和國，向全球宣告自己的存在和理念。他們遭到美國和其他大國的無情追捕和攻擊，但他們以智慧和勇氣與之對抗。他們最終抵達了聯合國總部，想要呼籲全世界實現無核化和和平。然而，海江田四郎在發表演說時遭到暗殺，成為了一個傳奇。
